Kate was raised and educated in the U.K., Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Argentina and Canada, and has witnessed the powers of an educated country and an uneducated one.

She has dedicated her career to ensuring every child has access to the tools & skills they need to create, communicate, and innovate in the 21st century. In 2013, Kate founded Kids Code Jeunesse, a bilingual non-profit dedicated to empowering children and their educators to build sustainable digital skills education in communities across Canada and abroad.

Kate is a mentor and advisor to young women entering business and entrepreneurship. She also sits on a number of boards and committees, including the U.K based charity, Anita Goulden Trust, which educates physically and mentally disabled children in Peru and the Canadian government’s, NSERC Promoscience Selection Committee. Kate Arthur is the recipient of a number of awards, including Emerging Leader of the Year Award, (Women in Communication and Technology, Canada), Portraits of Strength (TechGirls Canada), and Women in Tech Role Model (YES).
