Canada’s Digital Technology Supercluster

Canada has a vision to lead our Digital World. The Digital Technology Supercluster was created to make this vision reality by accelerating Canada's development and adoption of world-class digital technologies.

As CEO, Sue leads a $300+ million portfolio of digital innovation and talent-building projects focused on keeping Canadians healthy, protecting our environment and driving economic productivity.

The Supercluster's crosssector community is made up of 1000+ industry, academic and public sector partners collaborating and achieving technology breakthroughs that no one company could do alone. Projects include improving access to virtual mental health care, harnessing data to combat illegal fishing and creating opportunities for thousands of at-risk and underserviced youth to gain digital skills and employment. To date, Supercluster programs have resulted in 130+ Canadian-owned IP assets and generated $1.3+ billion in additional revenue for businesses growing in Canada and on the global stage.

Sue also serves on the Boards of TELUS International, CORIX Infrastructure, Own the Podium and Stemcell Technologies. She is the Co-Chair of Canada's COVID-19 Testing and Screening Expert Advisory Panel. She has received numerous recognitions for her community contributions, including an honorary Doctorate of Technology, Influential Women in Business Lifetime Achievement Award and the Peter Lougheed Award for Public Policy. Sue's biggest passion is spending time in Canada's wilderness with her husband, daughters and granddaughters.
