Dr. Rozita Dara

Dr. Dara is the Principal Investigator of Data Management and Privacy Governance research program at the University of Guelph. Her research focuses on data analytics and governance with a particular focus on digital agriculture. Dr. Dara is also the Data Strategy  Director working in close collaboration with Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance on digital smart farm platforms. She has established collaboration with government and industries on livestock disease modelling; agricultural production systems modelling; and agriculture data privacy and confidentiality.   Some of Dr. Dara’s research work has been featured by Science, The STAR, and the Global News. Prior to joining the University of Guelph, Dr. Dara has worked in industry (BlackBerry) and government (Office of Information and Privacy Commissioners/Ontario).
