Originally trained as a Social Scientist, Stephen Chen was one of a handful of Canadian-based researchers to specialize in Social Network Analysis before the ascendance of Google and Facebook popularized those algorithms.

Prior to joining Leo Burnett, he spent over 10 years as a management consultant in diverse industries (including financial, retail, CPG, automotive, telecom, technology, healthcare, agency etc.); helping senior management turnaround their businesses with his blend of data science, strategy, and human insights expertise.

Stephen looks forward to sharing his experience on how Visualization and a Humanistic perspective play an essential role not only in understanding data science outcomes, but vital in building more robust models.
